Since the Canon desktop printers came out with the newer cartridge and chip design we’ve been getting somewhat caught up and caught out by a number of different factors involved in the new cartridges, chips and even the inks.
After some deliberation we are now pursuring a number of options so that end-users can decide which option suits them best.
OEM Cartridge options
Top-Fill SquEasyFill system (with chip resetter)
Includes OEM/Original XL cartridges, a REdSETTER and the SquEasyFill system to support top-fill refilling.
Vacuum Refill (ClipClamp) system (with chip resetter)
Utilising the ClipClamp, FlushFill clips and the XL cartridges provided this kit supports vacuum refilling of the cartridge set (and any other original Canon cartridges).
Notes on OEM/Original Cartridge use:
We are currently working to identify whether an issue known as “Yellow Jello” (ref: Pro-100 / CLI-42) also affects the 551Y and/or 571Y cartridges. As such there is a need to keep checking yellow output when using either of the above solutions.
Refillable Cartridge options
