By focusing on just the bits you need, we've reduced the packaging, profile and weight to the absolute minimum. This approach has key personal and environmental benefits as there is no additional plastic waste, lower overall cost and even shipping is cheaper with our slim, letter/mail-box friendly, recyclable packaging too.

This listing is for replacement PrinterPads which fit the original waste ink pad holder installed in your printer.

The product consists of:

  • Absorbent felt material cut to the same spec as the original parts.
  • Full instructions for:
    • Replacing the pads in the holder
    • Removing and replacing the pad holder in the printer itself.
    • Resetting the waste ink counter (including a WICReset key)
  • Gloves: If you don't need them, please tick the box.
  • IMPORTANT: The plastic holder is NOT included (Re-use the one already in your printer).

This product is a win-win for anyone not wishing to install a Printer Potty and everyone benefits from the low environmental cost of the materials, lack of plastic (why replace the re-usable pad holder?) and an improved shipping profile (Everything fits in a large letter/envelope profile making it much easier/cheaper to ship).

 

While we continue to recommend our Printer Potty kits as a long term solution, this product recognises that some customers prefer not to have an external waste ink tank (eg: limited space, small curious children, etc..) and this is a perfect alternative that keeps your printer in working order.

Please note that, unlike Printer Potty waste ink kits, these are single use and will need to be replaced once capacity has been reached.

Notes:

  • This is not an official Epson part. The product is neither manufactured, supported nor licensed by Epson.
  • Due to the nature of the natural materials used, there is some variance in thickness and absobancy compared to the original pads. This is catered for in the pad components and design.
  • Unlike the original porous pad assembly part, this product does NOT include the plastic holder. You will need to re-use the one your printer already has.
  • If you don't have the pad holder for some reason please purchase the OEM porous pad assembly for your printer or contact us for advice.

    "Absolutely saved our bacon as our ink pad had reached the end of its life & we weren’t sure how to either get a replacement part, engineer out or a service from Epson whose website wasn’t too helpful! The replacement pads & reset key were a fraction of the cost & really easy to replace & then reset the counter once I had found the correct videos. I would recommend watching these as it makes the instructions a lot clearer. The only way to improve on it would be to provide easier information on where to find these videos - thank you Octoinkjet & Printer Potty!"
