Solo Plus Waste Kit

Product Description
The Solo+ (Solo Long) kits are made of the same quality components as the standard Solo kit but have a longer (30cm/12") tube.
This allows the kit to be used with printers that have the following requirements:
- Front located access hatch (eg: R360)
- Require side panel removal (eg: 1400, C86)
They are also perfect for anyone who wishes to have a bit more flexibility in where they can locate the waste tank
Note: They will not fit a printer that have two waste ink tubes (eg: R1800, R2400)
IMPORTANT:
This product listing does not include the means to reset your printers waste ink counter. It is intended for customers who have or who intend to source the necessary reset utility/service themselves.

Design Features:
- 30cm (12") single tube
- The valve closes automatically when the waste tube fitting is unscrewed
- A tight liquid proof seal around the fitting stops any leakage
- Simple to install, easy to maintain.
- Tanks are all re-usable after emptying
Boxes Only:
- Vent hole to allow any air out automatically (No need to vent a bag regularly).
- The location and size of the vent hole allows for accidents as the waste tank can effectively fall and hang from the waste tube with minimal, if any, spillage.
Bags Only:
- Completely sealed tank
- Excellent durability
- Recommended for environments with curious children or where space is minimal
- Includes simple vent fitting/tool for emptying

"I personally had this installed by a professional. Upon seeing the end result and checking out the fitting instructions myself, I could have done this with ease on my own. I worry to much!. Using this is simple! with its translucent design, its easy to see when it needs emptying, and its not often! and it gives you peace of mind, knowing the internal waste tank is not getting overloaded with ink as epson intended. This really is the way forward, and I am very pleased to have bought one from Octoinkjet. In fact, I am here to buy another one ..as well as more ink. And thought it's about time I told the world how damn good this website is as well as the host. Thank you Martin, the nicest and most friendliest Web human I have come across.
You will still need a reset utility for these waste tanks, with or without the "waste tanks". These are easily obtainable through forums and Octoinkjet. Failing that, you could go to an epson centre (in my case) and give them an arm and a leg to clean it all out for you. I think not!!"

"Thanks for a uniquely made product that is described easily in three word: simple, quality, effective.
I recently purchased this product (EPWIBOXSL) as the 350ml Box. The shipping was swift but I put off installing for over a month.
Once I got around to fitting the product, it was painless. Instructions were linked to from this website, I followed the fitting instructions and was operational in minutes.
Also just a tip/note to others, don't pour your ink down the drain. Pour it into a milk carton and put in your bin for the local refuse site to deal with. Don't damage the environment with harmful substances like ink.
