One of the key problems that Epson printer refillers experience is the issue and waste caused by the ARC (Auto Reset Chips) reset constraints.

For some time, ARCs constraints require the chip to reach a self-determined "empty" point (regardless of the actual cartridge contents). Such a process may, in theory, help protect the printer from a cartridge running low but in reality most of our refill customers tend to top-up all their cartridges together so, finding a way around this limitation has been a priority for some time.

We are now able to provide this chip resetter which can reset T0960 series Auto Reset Chips and allow the refiller to fill all their cartridges, reset them together and go through only one priming routine for the whole set rather than piecemeal, as before.

Using the chip resetter:

1. Hold the cartridge upright
2. Position the cartridge in the chip resetter plastic guide with the guide supporing the base of the cartridge then angle the resetter towards the chip
3. The resetter LED should flash red 3 times and then a solid green.
4. If a solid red shows, reposition the cartridge and resetter and try again.
