Version #2 inkset

This inkset completely replaces our 2014/15 development ink set for the Pro-10.
This set is for 125ml bottles of each ink. We also have a smaller volume Starter ink set (500ml total  - 50ml each colour) available.

Photo Black Choice: Ink Adhesion & Gloss Media/Papers

Important note for customers using the following paper/media:

  • Canon Pro Platinum
  • Canon Plus Glossy II

These papers are known to suffer from some adhesion problems with our standard Photo Black ink (ie: the ink can rub or scratch off if sufficient pressure is applied to the printed surface). Testing with other media types is ongoing but as yet, no other papers are known to suffer from this issue.

To resolve this, the Gloss Enhanced Photo Black is available (in 50ml or 125ml volumes) as an option. For most end-users this is unlikely to be necessary so if you're not sure we'd always recommend the Standard photo black.

Drying time of at least 30 minutes is recommended before general handling and 2+ hours before framing or placing in an archive/album.

 

Bulk/Refill compatible ink set for the Canon Pixma Pro-10

This ink set comprises our new ink formulation that improves on our original ink set considerably.

  • Red now provides a near 100% match to the original PGI-72R
  • Grey now completely resolves issues with adhesion on all papers
  • Photo Black resolves most adhesion issues with a small number of exceptions (See notes above)
  • Overall considerable improvement in colour match to the original Canon inks
