When dealing with high volumes of pigment ink, there is often a tendancy for the ink to settle out slightly which can result in high concentrations of the pigment being drawn into the printhead and slowly choking the nozzles so that ink flow is reduced, clogging becomes an increasing issue and increasing head cleans are applied to try to resolve the issue.

Our DBK3 inks are originally formulated for use in larger format printers such as the R2880 A3 printers but we've found the encapsulated ink formulation to be excellent for removing the clogging issues and keeping wastage to a bare minimum. While more expensive than most other compatible inks the product quality, longevity and cost/sanity saving properties more than make up for its price tag.

As these inks are intended for use in standard Workforce printers the emphasis is on standard office printing using plain papers. If you need to use your printer on Gloss media please contact us first so we can determine if an alternative black ink would be more appropriate.
