Product Description

Please note that the tools in this kit are not compatible with newer printers where the ink receiver is a contact mesh pad rather than an ink stem. As such the kit can still be used for passive head cleaning but is not suitable for use where pressure needs to be applied to the cleaning solution to inject into the printhead.

 

This printhead cleaning kit has been developed specifically for use with the OctoInkjet guide to printhead cleaning.

The kit itself comprises a mixture of active cleaning solution and a low cost flush that allows users to deal with a variety of "clog" scenarios in Epson inkjet printers.

  • Air ingestion in inkjet printers that incorporate a built-in CIS system (eg: PX700W, Artisan 837, TX720WD)
  • Clogging caused by Durabrite or other pigment inks (particularly long term lack of use)

The one key ingredient that you have to supply yourself is Patience as this is critical to resolving any clog issues, particularly those that have built up over an extended period of non-use or similar.

 

Kit Components:

  • 10ml Luer slip syringe
  • Tube & Adapter part (for connection to the ink recievers in your printer)
  • 50ml Cleaning solution
  • 125ml Distilled water (flush solution)
  • SqueasyFill Cap
  • 1x 18g 1.5" needle + scabbard/cover

  1. Epson Cleaner worked great on the XP-960 – 5/5

    "The Epson Cleaner worked great on the XP-960. I also used it on my ET-7700 which was clogged the worst. I had to use all of the cleaning fluid and had to keep doing a printhead cleaning, it finially started to work and is still working fine now. I wish the Cleaning fluid was in a larger bottle. Thank you"
