The 550/551 [UK/EU] v2 refill bundle follows our original approach where original/OEM cartridges are refilled (and reset) rather than using third party compatible cartridges and chips. The key benefits of this approach are the improved quality of the cartridges sponges along with the means to reset the chips and get much more accurate ink monitoring that ARC type chips do not provide.

The 250/251 [North American] refill bundle DOES NOT include the remanufactured OEM cartridges as we don't currently have any stock of these available. As such the refill bundle includes the necessary tools but you do need to modify and refill your own set of OEM PGI-250 and CLI-251 cartridges. Please make sure you select the correct number of cartridges for your printer type and that you are using 

The refill bundle can be customised for 5 or 6 cartridge printers and offers two ink set options (see below). We have also expanded on our earlier kits by providing a set of pre-flushed and filled high capacity (XL) cartridges with the same inks included with your bundle. This helps to ensure you can profile immediately (if required) and there's no worrying about dried sponges or issues caused by old inks.

Most of the other components are well known to previous OctoInkjet customers such as the SquEasyFill cap/needle system to allow simple, quick refilling. All in all the kit is detailed and comprehensive.
