Product Description

This is for a set of EMPTY T378 [378XL] refillable cartridges used in the Epson Photo XP-8500, XP-8600 [EU / UK Version] & other compatible model printers that use the same cartridge set.

These cartridges are equipped with a compatible chip that can be reset using the hardware resetter included with the cartridge set.

The benefits of a hardware resetter is that you can reset the ink chips whenever you refill the cartridge(s). So you don't have to wait for the chip to indicate empty before they'll reset which is how ARC chips function. It also helps avoid a rare issue when the waste ink counter has been reset and one or more of the cartridges is showing low ink which can block an ARC chip from resetting and the printer from completing a post reset priming routine. It's rare but it does happen.
